We are happy to report that Alliana is doing really well. We have been helping to cover the cost of her monthly injection for rheumatic heart disease for 3 years now and she is attending school and thriving in her activities. She is now a regular participant in cheer dance competitions in her middle school. 

 

It transpired that Alliana’s mother Cristina also had health issues, specifically hyperthyroidism so we helped her with a grant to enable her to buy her medication and have periodical check-ups with her endocrinologist. She now has the energy that she did not have before to care for her three children and to do laundry and cleaning jobs again to earn a living.
